For example, devices such as smartphones or tablets with a Type 3.1 C socket can be connected to devices such as cameras, camcorders or headphones with a USB 2.0 Micro-B socket. The cable is based on the new USB 3.1 standard with the type C connector. This is particularly compact, twist-proof and can be used universally.
